@GardaTraffic Fair enough. I am a very vocal critic of speeding. But on @TodaywithClaire a man was up in court for speeding at 85kph in an 80kph zone. Really? The case was thrown out by the judge.

We were on patrol on the N5 in Mayo last Thursday night when we caught this car travelling 193km/h in a 100km/h area. They were stopped and the driver now has a court appearance in the future, where they can explain themselves to a judge. #SaferRoads
