During my NYSC days, I knew someone that was the only doctor at Haija Gambo Sawaba Hospital in Zaria. The day i visited, my mouth was open. Such a huge facility and no one was there with thousands of patients trooping in and out. She starts working from 8am and does not close till night. She also didn’t speak any Hausa. So it was so difficult. Worst part is she was just a corper. Things are really happening.
