This is FDI. This is Passport Ranking. I see Foreign Policy & soft power. Your long-lost Glory & Pride will return. I see the president of the United States visiting Nigeria once more. This is how you market “Brand Nigeria.” I see Nigeria invited to G7 Summit once more. ✨

You drink milk or anything with dairy and 10 minutes later, you’re sprinting to the toilet. You eat noodles and your throat starts acting up. You’re drinking water nonstop for the next hour. You take a soft drink and it tastes overly sweet, almost chemical. You eat certain snacks and your stomach just feels off. You use some skincare products and your skin reacts instantly. But when people point out that a lot of products sold in Nigeria don’t meet the same standards as those in Europe, you get defensive, like it’s an attack on the country’s image and start defending her like Batman. It’s about acknowledging reality. Quality control, regulation, and consumer safety still have gaps and we still have to demand better from what we consume.

Let it be on record: the so-called unifier has publicly thrown Kwankwaso under the bus. Limits Peter Obi's influence to the SE only, then crowned himself king of the North. This is the exact same divisive character he displayed in 2023 and now he's repeating it all over again

A Nigerian doctor died today, from childbirth complications. Dr. Sintei Erigheyefa. Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar. NDUTH. Truth is, there is something unforgiving about childbirth that you only understand if you've stood inside a labour theatre. May her soul rest in peace. 🕊️

A disturbing video shows a young man, reportedly identified as John Arum, a student of the University of Jos, being brutally beaten and forced to renounce his Christian faith to survive. This is heartbreaking. The Nigerian government must take decisive and lawful action to end terrorism. Nigerians are tired. There should be no tolerance for these acts, justice must be swift, firm, and rooted in the rule of law to prevent further loss of lives and property. I condemn all acts of terror by any individual or group, regardless of religion, ethnicity, region, or political affiliation. No peaceful and sensible person can accept or justify such cruelty.

My wife has been fighting me because I refused to pay ₦500,000 to bury her father. Her family shared the bill for all the sons-in-law ₦500k each. Meanwhile, the man has five grown sons. I told my wife, “I’m sorry, but it’s not my responsibility to bury your father when his own sons are alive and well.” She reported me to her family. They called me, expecting me to comply. I told them clearly; I will give what I can, but I won’t be forced to pay a fixed amount. They got angry, called me rude, and said they don’t want my money again. Now my wife hasn’t spoken to me since. I'm the one being punished for refusing to do what her brothers should be doing.

'Now I truly understand why so many women avoid marrying single fathers. Right now, my husband isn’t speaking to me, and it’s all because of his son. I am 28 years old and we have a 6-month-old baby together. I’ve known my husband for three years, and we have lived together for one. When we met, he was already a single dad to a 2-year-old boy (the mother sadly passed away during birth). That boy is now 5 years old. My biggest issue is that he doesn’t help with any chores at all, he doesn't like sweeping, same with washing the dishes, nothing. Since I have a newborn, my younger sister moved in to help me, and my husband even offered to pay for her tailoring school. Everything blew up last Wednesday. My husband came back home around 7: 50AM because he forgot his laptop. He found his son still at home and asked why he wasn't in school. I explained that I told the boy he had to finish his chores sweeping the house and washing dishes before he could leave for school. My husband lost his temper. He shouted that a 5-year-old is too young for chores and said my sister should be doing that work instead. I told him straight: my sister is not a maid; she is here to help me with the baby’s laundry. Since then he has been giving me the silent treatment. To make a point, he now wakes up at 5: 30AM every day to sweep the rooms and do the dishes himself so his son won't have to. Now, he has given me an ultimum. He wants my sister to leave so he can hire a professional nanny. I told him no, but he said if she isn't gone in a week, he will force her out himself. When I told him I would leave too, he simply said the door is open—but I’d have to leave our 6-month-old baby behind. I’m currently stuck. I don’t want to lose my marriage, but I don’t want a stranger all in the name of a 'nanny' in my house either. If my sister leaves, she loses her chance at her training. Is it too much to ask a 5-year-old to do some household chores? Pls, whats wrong asking my step child to help out with chores??"
