Wish this was an April Fools joke lol Worst ever month lifetime, another -11k on offshores, but still up for the year. Taking vacation for all of march madness, and sleeping thru missing a +2400 $80k win did not help my cause. Haven't really been taking betting too seriously this year, we'll see how long it takes me to decide to lock back in or not, whether that's Q2 or Q4.

Warn others…about how taxes work? Again: there is no such thing as “profit” when using a sweepstakes site. There’s purchases, and then there’s redemptions. The two cannot be netted. Fliff is issuing 1099s correctly. Any sweeps sponsor not issuing 1099s based on gross redemptions is misleading their own users into incorrectly filing taxes. This is one of the reasons @sporttrade_app did not launch a sweeps product.
CT Boosts@ctboosts

Not only did @fliff wait until mid-March to send out tax forms, but they also confirmed those forms are based on total prize redemptions—not actual profit. So despite being down $11K on the year, I still received a tax form showing over $40K in winnings. Posting to warn others!

Tucker: "Was Iran about to get a nuke?" Kent: "No. They've had a religious ruling against it since 2004. We had no intelligence that it was being disobeyed." So the entire war-the thousands dead, the billions spent, the American soldiers buried-was based on nothing. No nukes. No threat. Just a lie sold to justify a war that was always for Israel

as a mostly straight (bettor&sexually) who paid q1 26 taxes today based on the new law - it's retarded. 2-3% roi in major markets is amazing. with thin margins taking a chunk away makes it not worth the time&risk. govt plz fix, you'll get more of my $ when i die to steal 4urdonors

@FerrisB_86 You can definitely think gambling is a net negative, but continue to be a +EV Sportsbettor yourself and make a living off beating the house and taking some of their profits... Actively supports your point too esp of/when you bankrupt some smaller sites.

I cannot stand this guy, but I’ll make an exception here: If you believe sports betting is net negative for society and consistently speak against it, you should not be around the space, actively contribute to the space, or build tools/content for sports betting participants.

Player prop projections are the primary thing I use UA for. For almost two weeks now on the DFS tool, the pick6 tab has been unusable, as they list lines that are 0.7x nerfed as if they are the normal 1.0 multiplier, and list the unders as EV for 1-way over lines. Support said they really don't care to fix this. Underdog Fantasy has been inaccurate on the DFS tool as well for basically the entire season, as either odds are always stale and not update from initially pulling lines in the morning (a prop will be 1.4x and be bumped down to 1.1x, but it shows EV as if it was the original multiplier), or the algorithm inaccurately assesses the EV of the 1.2x, 0.8x lines and your fair values are just wrong, where you check the payout and something displaying as 25% EV is really only 5% EV. Tool works well for PrizePicks at least, but 1/3rd of the product I pay for working is far from ideal.

What are the issues you're having with it? It's an integral part of my team's process -- I personally use the odds screen and we rely on the API for critical part of our processes -- and as I'm sure you know, we are doing quite a lot of volume on prediction markets and elsewhere. Despite my stake in Unabated, I'm more than happy to pay more for a service that is better, but I haven't found one. When I notice issues (which does happen), I bring them to the dev team. I understand your frustration, but I do know the Unabated team is committed to making this product A+ long-term so all feedback (the more specific the better) is welcome.

Unabated Sports has genuinely fallen off so hard. $200/mo to not even update their product with features they promised. Never thought I'd keep my oddsjam subscription longer than theirs.

@AbsolutelyAlpha I’ve had a weird suspicion him and Rufus used to hit huge numbers but their edges dried up and they had to sell software. They probably are pretty profitable still, but just way less

@MattZylbert @capjack2000 At least they offer a serious service for sharp bettors vs touts. I have infinitely more respect there, and in past years they've made me over 6 figures of profit.

Their SOR is 21st, they had a 1 in 4000 chance to finish this season undefeated. The teams in the graphic next to them maybe would have a 1 in 500-1000 chance to finish their "bad scheudle" undefeated, still means they probably wouldn't, in which case Miami needs to be reward for the reality we live in, and sharing a graphic because "their SOS is bad" is far from a reward. If a 32-1 team does not have room to make a 68 team field, this sport is dead.

@GamedayGarage Dude SOS 315/365 with zero Q1 or Q2 wins. That's why there's a debate. I agree 31-0 should be in. But refusing to acknowledge why there's a legitimate debate is simply ignoring reality.
