@TheTyroneBrooks Well duh again.
The best evidence shows that the universe is not infinite.
And that has absolutely zero bearing on the hypo which assumes an infinite universe.
Do you inderstand what a hypothetical is?
@reidt_1104@ParkerA2727@marxistbuddy You believe in magic and believe it to be a reasonable answer for fundamental questions of nature.
Do you believe in any other magic creatures? Or just one?
@AbstractTruthSP@ParkerA2727@marxistbuddy Saying my argument in a stupid way doesn't make you less of a moron, it actually just sounds like you're agreeing with me from my perspective.
@reidt_1104 You: if "pi=2 then" is impossible because pi =/= 2"
The premise of the hypo is an infinite universe, that the universe is not an infinite time doesn't do anything to the truth of the hypo. Just like I can still do all the math with pi=1
2 even though pi doesnt = 2.
@He11d1v3rs@EldenDryad@justMizuyuki What if monkeys are just incapable of making a specific series of keystrokes which makes the job futile even with infinite time? They are only guaranteed to produce Shakespeare with random typing
@He11d1v3rs@EldenDryad@justMizuyuki Yeah. this is also why infinite is a ridiculous concept. Wherever you see it being used, you can pretty much say that its bs.
@TheTyroneBrooks Well duh.
The whole thought experiment is hypothetical about infinity.
In an infinite run time with finite possibile combinations, all combination will occur an infinite amount of times.
If the universe were infinite, you would exist an infinite amount of times too.
@EsBigred@dan_gaffa There is no believing in it or not. It is a mathmatical certainty based on hypothetical conditions that do not exist seem to exist based on the evidence we can see. It's that simple.
@dan_gaffa The idea is an old idea that the big bag debunked. Early atheists believes in it because they taught the earth and the universe was infinite old.
@reidt_1104@ParkerA2727@marxistbuddy A magic superbeing cast a magic spell, then 13.8 billion years later told some rando desert people about it but no one else of course.
@ParkerA2727@marxistbuddy tautological argument. humans exist because of evolution? how did evolution come into existence? how did the infinitely intricate universe that it resides in come into existence?
@marxistbuddy@justMizuyuki The point of the tweet is that random chance could not have generated the universe. How is that difficult to understand? Why are blacks so low IQ?
@justMizuyuki ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ackshually🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
the spirit of the tweet and what they obviously meant to say is correct, you have a 90 IQ and sub 400ng/dl testosterone
Last week, two grizzly bear attacks claimed the life of a hiker in Glacier National Park and seriously injured two others in Yellowstone National Park. These tragedies are a sobering reminder that grizzly bear populations have recovered well beyond sustainable levels, and it is past time for the federal government to delist them and give states the management tools they need to protect both people and wildlife. Delist the grizzly.
@United_Updates1@Musturursad@OPShinkie@NotEvolution1 No based on math and nothing else.
If you have an infinite time and finite possibilities (the possible combinations of letters spaces and punctuation is finite) all possibilities, no matter how remote inevitably occur. With these conditions they eventually occur infinite times.
