Yesterday, May 19th, in Abuja, I attended the Presidential screening organised by our party, which took over two and a half hours. They carefully reviewed all my documents, including my degree certificates, NYSC credentials, and age declarations.
During the process, I also addressed questions regarding my vision for a new Nigeria and the type of leadership our nation urgently needs right now. Following this, I was cleared and received the presidential nomination form I had previously paid for.
I would like to commend the screening committee, led by former governor Sam Egwu, for their thorough and professional approach. Additionally, I appreciate our party's leadership for upholding the democratic process.
A New Nigeria is POssible. - PO

@Hybrid_Ola Well farewell to him,he isn't the only one that had lost loved ones, let those that wants to live continue living ,he made his choice, many people are in the hospital fighting to live one more day,if he was the one that got crushed, perhaps his wife would have moved on by now.

Tragic news 💔
In 2020, a woman was crushed by a truck on her way to work a few weeks before her wedding.
She had a child, and her husband was really devastated by the news. He never got better mentally.
Several times, he attempted to take his own life, and different blogs reached out to his friends, who supported him financially.
His friends constantly reminded him that he could find peace with God, but he rejected their advice while attempting to take his life more than 10 times.
Unfortunately, he took his own life yesterday by drinking Sniper. He recorded himself and sent it to people who cared about him.
May his soul rest in peace 🕊️

@Funmigator @RealQueenBee__ Do you just drop from limbo, since when did votes started counting in Naija ,the present person in the government got in there through the back door, result was announced in the middle of the night ,so what exactly are you talking about?
English

@Acala95 @RealQueenBee__ Democracy’s power is choice. If All Progressives Congress underperforms, voters can decide in 2027. Until then, push for accountability and monitor projects

@VikyInsights Majority of these women taking selfies with him would still sleep with him if he says ptiss, horrible generation always trending immorality..

English

CHIKE, the guy who slept with SANDRA (A married Woman), showed up at Film House cinema!.
And instead of disgust or shame, ladies were going crazy, fighting to take pictures with him like he’s some kind of hero. 👀🌚
Let’s call this exactly what it is:
A disgusting celebration of home wrecking.
-This is not “he’s fine.”
-This is not “mind your business.”
-This is not “single ladies having fun.”
This is women openly hyping and rewarding a man for sleeping with another woman’s husband. The same women who will later cry “men are trash” when it happens to them.
The Implications Are Deadly:
-Marriage vows now mean nothing. If you can cheat and still get celebrity treatment, why stay faithful?
-Women are actively destroying the standards they claim to want. Today they cheer the side guy. Tomorrow they’ll be shocked when their own man becomes the side guy.
-Young boys are watching this. They’re learning that destroying another man’s home = fame and female validation. That’s how we breed a generation of useless men.
-Character is officially dead. Talent or looks now excuses moral bankruptcy. We have reached the level where adultery is content and home wrecking is a flex.
-The married woman involved just became public property. Her husband is humiliated, her children will grow up with this shame, and society is laughing.
Chike had thousands of single girls available. He deliberately chose another man’s wife. That’s not alpha. That’s weak, low value, and dangerous.
And the ladies rushing for selfies?
They’re loudly advertising: “My future marriage can also be opened for the right man and the right thrill.”
This is how societies collapse, not with war, but with celebration of nonsense.
Real talk for Kings:
Any man celebrating this is advertising his own future pain.
Any woman defending this is telling you she has no loyalty when temptation comes.
Consequences don’t do PR. What you clap for today will clap for you tomorrow.
The standard has fallen so low that adultery now gets applause.
Wake up people. 🗣️🗣️🗣️

Something funny but sad happened in Nairobi.
Ahmed Tinubu will not stop until he wrecks Nigeria patapata. Do you know that in Nairobi Kenya, Oluremi’s husband asked the Global financial system to guarantee cheaper loans for “persistently high-risk borrowers” like Nigeria?
The funny part was that everyone was actually expecting that kind of beggy-beggy talk, so it didn’t come as a surprise. His mates were talking investments & local opportunities in their respective countries. But “Mr Borrow & Squander” was canvassing for cheaper loans.
E be like say dem use loan swear for Seyi Papa?
He was blaming Global Financial System for eroding the gains of his so-called reforms.
Since he knows that foreign or external loans are expensive, why the continuous borrowing? He won’t stop until he wrecks my country.
“Your government is deep in debt, yet you are spending money like a drunken sailor.” 💔💔

@EileenOmosa @BSAT_Properties Nah...,Naija people and African time na 5&6..🤦
English

@Acala95 @BSAT_Properties We always learn how to cross a road when vehicles arrive in the village. You will get the trains and surprisingly learn to keep time.
English

I was on a train in Tokyo. We stopped between stations. Announcement in Japanese, then in English: "We apologize for the delay. We will resume shortly."
The delay was maybe 3 minutes. Not a big deal.
When the train started moving again, another announcement: "We sincerely apologize for the delay. We were stopped for 3 minutes and 20 seconds. This is unacceptable. Thank you for your patience."
Three minutes and twenty seconds. They measured it exactly. And called it unacceptable.
When I got off at my stop, there were station staff on the platform bowing and handing out delay certificates.
I took one out of curiosity. It was an official document stating that the train had been delayed by 3 minutes and 20 seconds, signed and stamped.
The staff member said in English "for your employer. So they know the delay was not your fault."
I said I'm a tourist, I don't need it. He looked confused. "But the delay affected you. You deserve an apology."
Three minutes. They were treating a three-minute delay like a major incident.
Later I mentioned this to a Japanese friend. They said "oh yes, delay certificates are normal. Trains are supposed to be exactly on time. If they are late, they must apologize."
I said three minutes isn't late, it's nothing. My friend said "in Japan, three minutes is late. On time means on time. Not approximately on time."
They said the train company probably investigated why there was a 3-minute delay. "They will find the cause and fix it so it doesn't happen again."
I kept the certificate. It's framed in my apartment now. A reminder that somewhere in the world, people care about three minutes.

@EileenOmosa @BSAT_Properties If this is one of the reasons, that means bullet trains are not meant for Nigeria because we are a disaster when it comes to keeping time,it would be chaotic in Naija, except tracks are built differently for trains going to and fro ..🙆🤦

English

Safety is the main reason for that strict timekeeping and apology. Consequently, timekeeping has become a national culture since lack of timekeeping implies disaster.
In busy shared rail tracks, a train missing its time by seconds can have life saving implications:
Trains are scheduled to bypass each other, use and leave shared tracks on time to allow the next train traveling the opposite direction to use a similar track.
If one train is late or early by seconds, you do not want to imagine the result on a shared track where the train going the opposite direction just enters the shared track assuming it is free for them per their schedule.
Being late or early messes schedules for all the other trains since they change tracks at many places. The station masters and those at the main controls must now notify all the other trains of the change in time to avoid any two trains meeting on one track.
Those apologies are in order, since an apology after a disaster is hard to imagine.

@instablog9ja Is this not see finish..,these gullible old idiots in the government think we are dumb, people that borrowed money to pay for their school fees,em never see money chop, na to donate 10.7m to endorse the person that kept them in this present predicament..

@AtoyebiPaulB We have too many stupid people on this space ,look at what a grown ass man with a dick is taking about in 2026, tribalism over competence ,it gives me chills that your sperms would one day form children that would be this dumb and stupid.

Dear Yoruba Ronus, it's time to tripple your efforts. Yesterday night, I was speaking with an Ibo woman from whom I purchase Arabian Tea about Nigerian politics, particularly the upcoming 2027 elections. I emphasized why she should support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to continue his positive initiatives. Her response was, "You know Nigerian politics is all about voting for your own tribe to gain power." This was a mere marketplace vendor, yet her awareness of political and cultural issues surprised me. Her comment clarified why Obi received 90 to 97% of the votes in the Southeast during the last election—people prioritized tribal allegiance over competence in choosing their leader. Now, for "Yorubas But" who still support Obi based on unrealistic expectations for good governance, you are making a misguided choice, and I hope you gain clarity.
We truly need to approach the upcoming elections with all sense of seriousness across Yoruba land. We possess the numbers, resources, and influence to set a standard that other tribes look to.

A family of five who sold all their belongings and borrowed ₦20 million to relocate to the UK have reportedly been deported. The family included a husband, wife, two children, and the wife’s late sister’s daughter.
After spending about two years in the UK, the wife allegedly decided to act on past grievances against her husband. Since she was the main visa holder with a work permit and the rest were dependents, she reported to authorities that she wanted to remove her husband from her visa, effectively ending their marriage.
The husband was then notified to leave the country within a short period. Faced with debt and uncertainty, he sought legal help and revealed that one of the children was not biologically theirs and had not been legally adopted or declared during their relocation process.
Authorities followed up, and DNA tests confirmed the child was not related to either of them. This violation led to legal consequences, and despite attempts to reverse the situation, the case had already escalated.
In the end, the entire family was deported back to Nigeria.
