$TAO Bittensor Long-Term Wallet
A friend of mine just got TAO-pilled. I built a long-term portfolio for him and I’m sharing it with you.
A few important subnets are still missing, like Chutes 64. I’m waiting for his next allocation, and the price action may offer a better entry. Same for Swarm 124.
Anyway, this is how I build a portfolio that won’t be touched for a while, with around 10 TAO and only a few adjustments along the way.
Would you do anything differently? What?

It should be obvious to everyone that frontier model companies are going to CONTINUE to compete with their largest customers
Claude and ChatGPT have already taken on their own customers from Cursor, 11labs and Figma and countless other smaller startups
DO NOT TRUST THEM
The only way to avoid this is for startups to use open source and not give any money, data or knowledge to these partners immediately!
This also means that OpenAI and Anthropic will be losing MANY their top customers over the next year
That’s a significant headwind against their profits and customer base.

The question of how many subnets Bittensor actually needs is heating up.
@tao_Alph argues for a hard cap of 30 for the next five years, citing quality and the time it takes real companies to mature.
@const_reborn reply is simply: “Watch next week.”
Whether the answer is fewer slots, stricter pruning, or something else entirely, this is one of those moments that will shape the network’s long-term trajectory.

I don't know what Const means with his "Watch next week" reply, but I hope we can give those lower cap subnets some more runway to keep shipping.
Investors in D bittensor:native should not be scared to invest in the lower cap subnets. If they are, then the liquidity is non-existent. How can they survive?
Bittensor's beating heart is the subnets. If they survive and thrive, then Bittensor thrives.
There needs to be some sort of change here.
Or more liquidity that flows in Bittensor subnets.
