@baldassarreted Disappointed because it seems that they whiffed twice. They had good opportunities to launch a hype - Hand wound sistem51 is thin enough for a normal royal oak. -Automatic sistem51 fits into an offshore model.

@thetrickytrade The official teaser shows the @Swatch sistem51 movement. The thickness of that movement alone would make the proportions of the watch closer to the offshore line rather than the regular royal oak. My guess would be offshore self-winding (think Ref. 15605SK) or offshore diver.

This will hurt a lot of “collectors”, more than the Omega collab did. Rumours are that Swatch is doing an AP Collab on the Royal Oak calling it the Royal Pop. ngl the black and the pastel green looks pretty nice.
