I would have given g5 a chance if they actually cared to put their teeth into it and flesh it out more. But that's past now unfortunately, I did enjoy a handful of moments/characters from it is all I'll say. G6, I'm doubtful, but I'll be patient to have them prove something.

I have a shred of positivity for it, it'll be just an excuse to see merch of characters i like and am familiar with, so will be nice to see mlp in stores again (I guess). But I will admit, a full on fresh gen of characters and world would have been ideal imo-

Going to conventions at 11-15 with my sister, seeing independent BL, crossplay, people playing Yu-Gi-Oh and just in general being kind of embarrassingly sincere made me a better more complete person

Imho basically every con should be 18+, even if it's for something completely anodyne like woodworking, and not because woodworking is inherently sexual, but because a convention is inherently about meeting people and nobody wants minors to be meeting adults

Good way to get into more obscure music is look at very popular band/artist and disect their beginnings and scene they started in via splits and comp submissions they've participated in. Then keep doing that with every band/artist you find interesting along the way.
