From the looks of that target audience, I'm gonna assume at best it's going to be either a totally new generation, or it's just gonna be more G4 But; last time they wanted to target older audiences, they did it for one movie (G5) and stopped. So i ain't gettin my hopes high tbh

@WinteerLight In the case of the movie it was an intentional choice to go for older/general audiences for wide appeal, it was when the shift to our current day MYM and TYT did it give a strict downscale

I remember watching a presentation about G5 from people that knew about it a at HarmonyCon (or was it last year...) where they said that Hasbro Specifically was targetting younger audiences with g5, trying to not cater to adult fans.

@MrVectorMV If I was a betting man, I would say that the Generation might be new but like Transformers the characters will be recycled. I would not be surprised if a version of Twilight Sparkle or Zipp shows up in another production.

Yes G5 has continued after the movie, it has two shows and an entire comic lineup and some games
