ActionAid Nigeria has undoubtedly done a lot of work within the women’s rights space. However, we recognise that there is still more work to be done to advance the full enjoyment of human rights for all women.
We hereby call on the federal and state governments to support the passage and implementation of the Special Seats Bill in order to increase women’s political representation in Nigeria and advance women’s rights across the country.
