@HoppersHopkins I haven't as I was supposed to be in Egypt for the week but came home early as me and the Mrs both got ill so the potential opportunity has arisen for us to go but cancelled my membership when I got ill and didn't feel up to going.

Well it's been a bit of a shit year having been told I have stage 5 kidney failure and need dialysis/a transplant but last night made me feel genuine excitement, the first time I've felt like that for a while. UP THEM FUCKING WEMBLEY TIGERS! #hcafc

I don't think I'll be able to get to the MKM on Saturday. I'm waiting to start dialysis (been a bit of a weird couple of months 😭) and don't feel great, I'm a wet wipe, I know.... If anyone needs an adult and kid ticket let me know. Gutted. 😭

@AdEvo87 Fingers crossed for you mate, hopefully once the dialysis starts things start to improve, had a patient support group thingy the other week and they all looked pretty well and most were upbeat about it all. Give me a shout if you ever wanna chat. Hope the surgery is ok.

@HoppersHopkins I've been diabetic since 2011 and yeah it's tanked my kidney function too. I don't feel too bad right now but definitely getting the odd day when I feel groggy.

@AdEvo87 I've been diabetic since I was 10, been tested for this stuff regularly, apparently my kidney function has been nosey diving since 2019 and they just forgot to do owt, like you mate too late to do anything. I'll be having Hemodialysis in hospital 3 times a week, grim stuff.

@HoppersHopkins Same, went for a walk routine blood test and found out I've only got 8% kidney function, shite. Due my operation to have the tube put into my stomach to begin dialysis. Which type are you having?

@AdEvo87 3 months ago I didn't have owt to worry about, beyond the usual stuff, world has been totally ripped apart. Bloody terrifying. Smiling through it is wearing thin, last few weeks the reality has started to dawn on me. You doing ok?
