Because men build their entire worth around provision. Tell a man to look after his children and he reminds you he is a provider, Tell him to assist with chores, he reminds you he is a provider. He centers his entire life around providing and then if something happens to his source of income, he expects you to automatically rate him based on something else.
What exactly can I rate you on? You are completely useless to me, you offer no value and make it worse, he still won’t offer to do anything. If you complain, he will accuse you of emasculating him.

My breakfast lunch and dinner is premade and served, I can “help out” with childcare with no societal obligations to apart from providing money.
