My SaaS made a sale, after I didn’t update it for 4 months 🎉🎉 Someone paid $9 for the work I did 4 months ago PrettyPost was my first saas and was more successful than I ever imagined. It’s currently on 350+ users Not a bad way to start the week 😁

Results from 100 cold DM’s: This was for my project “Cursor for L1nked1n” I was surprised to actually get responses from accounts with 100k+, 300k+ and even 800k+ followers I actually got a lot of initial good feedback, and people seemed curious to my idea. The main issue was people saw existing products and thought there was no point. Even though I saw plenty of issues with the existing products, without 3-5 influencers it was always going to be hard to scale the product I don’t use the platform, and the short time I spent on there was terrible. LESSON LEARNT: It was better I validated my idea before spending too long trying to market it. But I could have been even quicker. Sending cold DMs should have been the very first thing. I’ll take this into my future startup ideas

Outcome from 20 cold DM’s sent to content creators: - 10 new connections - 1 interest and wanted to know more I know cold outreach can be a numbers game, but it’s hard to reach higher numbers when I’m trying to tailor each DM to be personal. But now I have someone in the space interested, it should help me guide the development of my SaaS much better. Any cold outreach tips??

@marclou What were you doing 6 years in uni?

I spent the same time as a university student and as an entrepreneur: - 6 years in uni: learned a few things, would make $50K/year if I get a job (advertised). - 6 years as an entrepreneur: earned nothing for years, learned a lot more, now making $1.2M/year. If I had to restart, I'd skip uni and try to fail as fast and often as possible.

Personally, I wouldn’t quit my job and go all in on my product. I’d make sure it at least somewhat works before taking that step.

It’s Saturday morning 🌤️ I always start the day by going outside for a few minutes. Fresh air, quiet morning, just me and my thoughts. 
 I’ve always loved Saturdays.
That feeling of knowing I have two full days to build without distractions. But now that I quit my job,

📆 Day 3 of growing LinkedFast to $1k MRR I’ve stopped building + shipping Instead I’m focusing on finding personalities in the “personal branding niche” I’m going to try and find 5 creators who are willing to direct the features built + become ambassadors for the brand. They will get a percentage of the business in the future for this. I got this idea from @tibo_maker who did the same thing for Taplio. Now I need to find the right people who are willing to join me on this

got extremely lucky to hit my 60 day goal of $0-$5000/month in 15 days but officially hit it! pushing new app update today where i remade the whole app as a cozy couples home :) been working non stop on it and think it may blow up again (fingers crossed)
