I’m excited to partner with Jeanette Nunez and healthcare leaders across the state to bring the future of medicine to Florida! The work we are doing now is providing hope to countless families but it’s just a matter of time before that hope is transformed into actionable treatments & cures for pediatric rare diseases. It was a pleasure to welcome some of the most brilliant minds in genomic & precision medicine from around the country and as far as England to North Pinellas for the inaugural AJ Anderson Foundation & Florida Institute for Pediatric Rare Diseases “Rare Disease Conference” The 2 day event sold over 600 tickets uniting international experts in genomic NBS, gene therapy, data privacy & AI innovation in healthcare. There was so much excitement in the room about how Florida is leading the nation with The Sunshine Genetics Act!
