Accused: Mohammed Abdul Quddus , businessman, resident of Bandlaguda, Hyderabad. Sri Mohammed Najamuddin Shakir of New Malakpet, Hyderabad, lodged a complaint alleging that Mohammed Abdul Quddus falsely claimed ownership of his family's ancestral property using fabricated Hibanama documents and forged stamp papers after construction commenced with valid GHMC permission. During the course of the dispute, co-accused Raja (A-2), acting on behalf of Quddus, allegedly demanded ₹10 lakh and threatened the complainant with false criminal cases. Subsequently, both accused jointly intimidated the complainant and allegedly threatened to implicate him in false murder cases unless their demands were met. The accused habitually used forged Hibanama documents to make false ownership claims over properties and extort money through threats of litigation and false criminal cases. Investigation revealed that he allegedly extorted around ₹40 lakh from multiple victims. After absconding to Bengaluru, the accused was traced and arrested by a special police team and brought to Hyderabad for further legal action.
