In general, Syria is developing extremely well. So good that even their most faithful fans are beginning to regret worshipping Jolani. Short glimpse of what is happening just this morning: 1. Shammar tribe, known as the ruler over the tribes of Syria (DeZ) has undergone a coup - the STG dismissed the tribal leader Hamidi as he refused to hand over authority over the tribal military forces of the Shammar - The STG replaced him with Al-Jarba. Expect a lot of internal unrest. 2. STG officer Al Dhaher dies of a *heart attack* after voicing criticism of the corruption within the STG 3. STG soldier known as Laith criticised the STG publicly on Facebook, STG forces raided his home and killed him. 4. disputes over goods in Raqqa - resulting from the extreme poverty of the people and the enormous rise in costs of living results in street brawls between the residents of Raqqa - to an extent where cars are driven into crowds.

First of all, Türkiye didn’t start the tensions. It’s Israel very publicly calling out the Turks as its ‘next’ target. If you call out the Turks, they will show up. Secondly, NATO isn’t dissolving just because Netanyahu wishes it so. The US may stay a member, it may leave. But, NATO will stay in tact. Thirdly, these bullshit Israeli narratives on Türkiye won’t work. Türkiye isn’t some isolated, enigma of a country. It’s a NATO member, a G20 country, has the third largest diplomatic network in the world and is one of the five most visited countries on earth. So people know Türkiye, people believe their eyes over what they are being told. Finally, if Türkiye is attacked by Israel, a war with the Turks won’t be anything like the War on Iran. Putting the issue of NATO’s Article 5 aside, the Turks won’t just sit around and lob missiles back and forth like Israel and Iran are doing. The Turks will retaliate to an attack with a very comprehensive counter-strategy that will include massive air defense saturation, naval blockade and most importantly a ground operation into Israel. The one thing I don’t understand is, if you’re going to attack Türkiye, why would you announce it months or years in advance. Are you stupid. We’re basically a country of 90 million excitable, patriotic military planners. If the strategy was to cause panic and intimidate or cause chaos, you really don’t know the Turks. You’re talking about a people that say, “Every Turk born a soldier” when a son is born and you think you’re going to intimidate that type of mindset?

Okay, look, I don’t fully agree with the framing of this post. Why? 🔸️First, calling it a “threat” is simply wrong. Erdoğan issued a warning about the consequences of escalating the conflict by bringing in additional actors. That’s standard geopolitical language, not a threat. 🔸️Second, the claim that Türkiye is “taking Iran’s side” is a clear distortion. Türkiye is maintaining a neutral position, while making it clear it will defend its own borders and national security. Those are not the same thing. 🔸️Third, saying “Kurdish groups” is not just vague, it’s irresponsible. The issue concerns specific organizations designated as terrorist, not an entire ethnic group... Blurring that distinction is either careless or deliberately misleading 💁‍♀️ This kind of framing oversimplifies a complex situation and pushes a false narrative... but that's just my opinion 🙃
