@FFTMime @creation247 God isn't Materialistic. He cares more about having a relationship. You can see this in 1 Kings 9:1-9. God obviously knew Solomon would choose the latter of those choices. Solomon's heart was set on shiny things and bad women that led him to worship false gods and other idols.
