Take the JAMA Clinical Challenge. A 67-yr-old man presented to ED with 2 mos of left shoulder pain, stiffness & reduced range of motion, and numbness and paresthesias in left upper extremity. Left shoulder radiograph showed complete absence of the left humeral head. (1/2)
