Most tweets I send have a pic. I do it so others can’t say I’m lying. But, every now and then, a situation is so unbelievable that my own brain requires the evidence: 1) Govt makes 50% of lanes 🚴 only 2) 🚴 whine to use other 50% 3) 🚴 lobby pushes for car ban Seriously wtf!

RECKLESS RIDERS: Police rush to stop a large group of cyclists trying to take over the Oakland Bay Bridge in California. Authorities say the cyclists rode straight at moving cars, weaved through traffic, and came dangerously close to pedestrians. At least 85 riders were detained and their bikes were seized.

The 15th St bike lane within 30-45mins of Monday’s rally. Despite the emptiness depicted here, it wasn’t totally unused. There was a middle-schooler on a Veo ignoring the 18+ policy. Wonder how many times such behavior has been punished. Over/under: 0.5 #SafetyFirst

That’s about 15 mins of car traffic volume on this street alone in DC. Thank you for making our point. Bike lanes are a COMPLETE waste of space and a burden on economic activity… not to mention traffic jam magnet (which increases engine idling).
