I know I shouldn’t be this angry over a professional sports team. I’ve never been this angry about the Cowboys or Jerry Jones. Luka Doncic was more than just a player, he was 20 years of memories on the horizon. Like Dirk. He brought people together, he made people that never watched basketball fans. My wife who never cared about basketball would watch Luka Doncic… our first date was to a playoff game against the Wolves. My parents who don’t care for basketball would watch Luka Doncic. He was more than just a player man, if you weren’t here you just can’t understand. There’s an actual hole in our every day lives because we don’t get to watch or talk about Luka Doncic. I have a son due in 2 months… he should be growing up with a Luka Doncic Mavs jersey and watching him with me for the next 10 years. They stole actual moments from us. Valuable moments. They stole our guy. I just don’t get it man.
