@freelander97 @UzziMajid Andrews is almost identical to Frank in strengths and weaknesses. I don’t think the board were looking to upgrade on Frank, just find someone who was just like him. Whilst i believe we’ll be fine with Andrews, it’s unlikely he’ll be the one to take us to the next level.

@UzziMajid It’s obviously fake just to pile on more shit on Frank at the time. It was awful at times but Andrew’s isn’t any better unfortunately. Granted both lacked players at times but there’s very little bravery from either to try inexperienced players.

Brentford players were apparently glad to see Frank go?

@rianmbfc Collins had 2 great chances to get his headers on target and messed up. Surely Ajer would do better there.

The Dango one was a great save by Leno, but the amount of free headers in the box, not just today but on a regular basis, that we can’t even get on target is a joke.

Draw would’ve been ok if we hadn’t drawn last week, but we really needed to win one of those last 2 games. Should’ve won both and didn’t. Better side today but let down again through everybody other than Thiago being toothless in front of goal.

@garydennis1957 @joshh_bfc He’s very much similar to Thomas Frank in that way. Both were reluctant to make changes out of fear of losing the game. Maybe with a stronger squad Andrews will be braver but I doubt it.

Why does Keith Andrews seem to get worse at making subs with every passing game at this point?

@UzziMajid In hindsight it wasn’t the smartest of decisions by the recruitment team to loan out the likes of Onyeka, Konak, Nunes. I know they’re not starters but it at least would have been better cover on the bench than what we currently have.

@freelander97 So fed up with Andrews refusing to utilise the bench. He’s clearly not confident in anyone outside of the starting 11. I understand we have very little depth but when players get fatigued late in matches it’s better to switch it up than do nothing at all.

The second we we went ahead again Ajer had to come on for someone. We may as well not have a bench when the only player he brings on is fucking Nelson.

@rianmbfc Chances of getting a European spot feel low given this string of poor performances doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon. On top of that we have injuries piling up which only highlights a lack of quality depth. But I’m happy with the season we’ve had given what was expected.

This is just a copy and paste of the Brighton and Forest games, just look clueless going forward once we go a goal down. Hope to God I’m wrong but just don’t look like scoring.

@rianmbfc Underwhelming and disjointed performance for the most part. Bournemouth looked very comfortable on the ball whilst we looked very shaky. So I’ll take a point. Squad is looking a little thin in areas with injuries ramping up. Feel for Hickey and Henry.

Copy and paste of the Forest game really, flat as fuck. Stupid mistakes at the back, toothless and predictable going forward. Collins and Henderson in particular absolutely honking. Missed opportunity but still 7th, just need a proper performance and no stupidity vs Burnley.

@rianmbfc Agreed, we’ve always struggled against low blocks since being in the prem with Frank. With a much changed coaching team this season, I’d hoped we’d have different ideas and strategies to better deal with the low blocks. But nothing has changed.

@AdamSutter5 Honestly think we’re more likely to score against Villa and Newcastle at least than a team like Forest. Attack is so one dimensional, and much more suited to games where teams will attack us and allow space in behind. Schade and Dango vs low blocks is just a waste of time.

Utterly diabolical performance in a game we really needed to win given our next 3 games. Just look utterly clueless whenever we don’t have space to get in behind, and 2 more horrific goals to concede, especially the first one in a game where you really need the opening goal.

@rianmbfc Once again our substitutions make no positive impact on our performance. Like for like changes that offer nothing new. LP and Henderson coming on too late when the game is over. Schade should have come off for Nelson. Donovan should be given a chance too.

@rianmbfc Just wish Keith would get a handle on the substitution thing. He often leaves it too late to bring on fresh players and they make little difference. 5 attackers on the bench and he waits till the 77th min when we’re 2-0 down. Needs to be braver and make changes sooner.

Very frustrating because that was a genuine good performance from us, and we were the better side for most of the game. Just let ourselves down with some poor finishing and loose stuff at the back. Missed opportunity but still in a good position, just need to win next Sunday.
