Last month, CryptoUK proudly co-hosted an event alongside @BCBcrypto and @adan_asso exploring the findings from ADAN’s fifth annual Barometer on Crypto Adoption in Europe. The report highlighted several important themes shaping the European digital assets landscape, including growing mainstream awareness, increasing institutionalisation of the market, and the continued rise of stablecoin utility for payments and transactions. The discussion also reinforced the importance of clear and proportionate regulatory frameworks, particularly as adoption trends begin to diverge between jurisdictions. 🇪🇺 The European Commission has published two Public Consultations on the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA). 📌 One Consultation aimed at the general public concerning the public’s awareness of digital assets and crypto.  Deadline: 31 August 2026 📌 A targeted Consultation on the review of Regulation on the MiCA.  Deadline: 31 August 2026 The feedback will help the Commission to prepare a report on the MiCA application and the latest developments in markets crypto-assets (as mandated by Articles 140 and 142). If necessary, the report may be accompanied by a new legislative proposal to amend and complement the regulation. The Consultation on MiCA review seeks feedback across current MiCA implementation but importantly, it also seeks input on areas that remain outside the current regulatory perimeter, including: - DeFi - Crypto lending and borrowing - Yield - Tokenised deposits ✅ Adan will be submitting a response to the consultation! lnkd.in/eQTYZTMG

⚠️ L'obligation de déclaration des portefeuilles auto-hébergés ne sera pas mise en oeuvre. Après plusieurs mois d’échanges, la commission mixte paritaire (dernière étape parlementaire) du projet de loi contre les fraudes fiscales et sociales a supprimé l’article 3 quater. Cet article visait à créer une obligation déclarative annuelle pour les portefeuilles crypto auto-hébergés. Depuis novembre, l’Adan s’est mobilisée pour porter une position auprès des administrations, des cabinets et des parlementaires : renforcer la lutte contre la fraude, oui ; créer une obligation inopérante et risquée pour les contribuables, non. Nous remercions les membres de la CMP et les rapporteurs du texte pour leur écoute et leur lucidité, l’ensemble des interlocuteurs institutionnels avec lesquels ce travail a été mené, ainsi que les acteurs du secteur qui ont renforcé la mobilisation.

🔹 L'Adan dévoile son 5e Baromètre annuel sur l'adoption des crypto-actifs en France et en Europe. Un événement au ministère de l’Économie et des Finances, en présence de @Amiel_David_, Bertrand Dumont, et des principaux représentants du secteur pour analyser ces résultats.

📊 Baromètre 2026 de l’Adan : les investisseurs en crypto consacrent en moyenne 14 % de leur épargne aux crypto-actifs. Les cryptos ne remplacent pas la finance traditionnelle : elles renforcent la diversification de l’épargne, et les banques s'adaptent à l'évolution des usages.

📊 Baromètre 2026 de l’Adan : 11 % des Français détiennent des crypto-actifs. Alors que 93 % de la population en a déjà entendu parler, l’enjeu pour le secteur est désormais de transformer cette notoriété en adoption. @bfmbusiness
