Arizona is one of the toughest battleground states in the country. One of our Dem US Senators is a Latino. Our Dem Governor is a woman. Our Dem AG is an openly gay woman. Our Secretary of State is a Latino man. (And our other Dem US Senator is a great straight white Catholic dude.) Trying to stop anyone from running simply bc of their identity is a really, really bad way to run the Democratic Party — and a recipe for losing elections.
