BMA or no BMA there was no way government could disguise the poor optics of unemployed UK doctors whilst merrily filling specialty training posts with IMGs.

Bringing this back since the sentiment on ground re:strikes looks like the chickens are now coming home to roost - RDC pushing hard for UKGP and the BMA alienating a significant proportion of their membership was always going to have consequences.
Anyone with two braincells and a little bit of foresight should've been able to put that together. Worst part is they didn't bother to listen and see past divisive rhetoric even after having been warned by many of us.

Once again, I am calling it. FPR is now a lost battle even before DDRB comes in April because the UKRDC wanted to pass a divisive policy. And I'm sure when the time comes, the narrative will be 'blame the IMGs'. The entire UKRDC should resign. They sank FPR.
