I wish my dearest friend and brother Sheik (Professor) Isa Ali Pantami (@ProfIsaPantami), the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy the very best in the upcoming Governorship primary elections in Gombe state. I sincerely hope that he wins the nomination, that he flies our party flag and that he goes on to win the election. He is a pride to Nigeria and he would make a great Governor. May God lead and guide him and may He grant him victory.

@ADCVanguard_ ADC has been bought by Atiku. Same way he destroyed PDP, he will destroy ADC. If Elrufai were to be around, he wouldn’t hav allowed Obi to go. He would have made sure northers support Obi to get the ticket. But Tinubu and Atiku had a plan that is why Tinubu put Elrufai in prison

The proposed Obi-Kwankwaso ticket may sound exciting to some people, but politically, it raises serious questions that cannot be dismissed with emotion. The lesson of 2023 is clear. Tinubu did not win because Nigerians were overwhelmingly satisfied with APC. He won because the opposition was divided. Atiku, Obi, and Kwankwaso split the anti-APC vote, and that fragmentation gave Tinubu the opening he needed. Anyone who ignores that lesson is preparing to repeat the same mistake in 2027. Peter Obi has a passionate base, especially among young people and in the South East. Kwankwaso has influence in Kano and parts of the North. But presidential elections are not won by passion alone, or by one-state strength alone. They are won through national spread, alliances, structure, numbers, regional balance, polling unit presence, and the ability to cross the constitutional threshold across the country. That is where the O.K. ticket becomes risky. Can Obi secure enough northern trust beyond social media excitement? Can Kwankwaso transfer his base without internal resistance? Can both men overcome the suspicion, ego, regional calculations and political baggage surrounding them? Can they build the national spread required to defeat an incumbent with state power, governors, money, institutions and ruling-party machinery? These are hard questions. Tinubu’s camp would rather face a scattered opposition than a disciplined coalition. That is why any ticket that further divides the anti-APC vote may end up helping the same government it claims to oppose. The 2027 election must not be reduced to vibes, nostalgia, anger, or online confidence. Nigerians are suffering, but suffering alone does not remove a government. Suffering must be organized into strategy. The opposition needs unity, discipline, a strong rallying figure, and a platform that can convert public anger into electoral victory. Otherwise, the O.K. ticket may be okay for Tinubu, but not okay for Nigerians.

THE NDC AND ITS ‘419’ DECISION. The decision of NDC to zone its Presidential ticket to the south for JUST ONE TERM (emphasis on ‘one term’) is an audacious attempt to hoodwink Nigerians. It reminds us of the undertaking by Jonathan in 2011 to serve just one full term and quit. So, what happens if Peter Obi changes his Party, assuming he wins, or as leader of the NDC he gets the NEC of the Party to reverse the decision, if in the unlikely event he wins? This is an insult on the sensibilities of Nigerians; it smacks of outright desperation and actually accentuates the dilemma of the opposition a whole in the 2027 Presidential elections. It is just a joke taken too far; it is nothing but political 419.

Femi @realFFK can’t tell Nigerians that Germany rejected him. He compiled his lies together as usual. We know your type.. Baba Obasanjo once said when he is given food, you will sing their praises.
Femi Fani-Kayode@realFFK

It gives me pleasure to announce the fact that Mr. President has graciously approved my posting as Nigeria's Ambassador-Designate to South Africa. This came a few days after the initial posting to Germany was announced and after I made a formal representation to the then Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, that I was not comfortable with Germany for a number of personal reasons and given the fact that I had lived in Europe most of my life I would prefer to go to South Africa which is a country that I had never been to and for which I have so much interest. I also expressed the fact that I would rather serve in a country that shares some of my convictions, beilefs and values when it comes to world affairs, that has the biggest economy in Africa, that has closer ties to Nigeria and that is more proximate to my political thinking when it comes to foreign affairs and a pan African vision. I therefore made an application for a redeployment to South Africa two days after the initial announcement was made and I am pleased to say that after the then Foreign Minister (H.E. Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar) heard my reasons he considered them favourably after which he conveyed the request to Mr. President who graciously approved it. I will be eternally grateful to Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this favourable consideration. I also take this opportunity to thank Senator Sam Enang, who was originally posted to South Africa and who was pleased to go to Germany instead, to agree for a straight swap. I take this opportunity to once again confirm that this was my choice and that Germany NEVER rejected me, which was a fake report that was published in an irresponsible online magazine that thrives on sensationslism, lies and blackmail. Their story was not only irresponsible and insulting but was also a total and complete fabrication based on hearsay, beer parlour talk and cheap gossip and designed to embarass my goodself, the Federal Government and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Worse still they listed a number of clearly outlandish and absurd reasons for this purported and fake "rejection" which they patched together and concocted reflecting the malevolent condition of their perverse imagination. Our findings after a preliminary investigation was that the story was not only sponsored but was also written with malicious intent and designed to hurt and destroy my career and bring me into both national and international opprobium and disrepute. We have reported the online magazine and the individuals that are behind it with a petition to the relevant security agencies for necessary action. I have also briefed my lawyers to take up the matter and we shall be suing the them in a civil action for defamation. What actually happened was that the day an "agreement" was sent to South Africa by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was on March 13th, it was leaked to them and they falsely and maliciously reported that it was sent only because I had been formally rejected by Germany which they knew to be false. They attempted to establish falsehood as fact and this is unacceptable and far below the par of professionalism and proper journalism. If there was such a formal rejection I challenge them to bring the proof with documentary evidence. I repeat this never happened and I urge the media to be far more circumspect with such reports. This statement has been made necessary due to the concern that many of my friends and loved ones have expressed over the matter and in an attempt to set the record straight. God-willing, I look forward to serving as Nigeria's Ambassador to South Africa, a nation that I admire and respect given its remarkable and inspiring history. (Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, Ambassador-Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to South Africa)

My dear Arewa brothers, poverty does not ask for your tribe, and insecurity does not care about religion. Nobody owes Obi or Kwankwaso a favor, but Nigerians owe themselves a better future. In 2027, let conscience speak louder than ethnicity. Nigeria Will be OK In Sha Allah ✌️

This is my stance. My final stance. Please read carefully. 1. I am part of the coalition; I support ADC fully. 2. The only way Tinubu can be defeated in 2027 is through the coalition, and anyone trying to divide the coalition is working for Tinubu. 3. I will not follow either Peter Obi or Kwankwaso out of ADC. 4. As I have said before, there are no free meals in ADC. 5. How do you plan to defeat Tinubu with all his machinations if you cannot win the primaries of your party? 6. Anyone afraid to contest the ADC primaries is a coward and does not deserve my support. 7. You claim Atiku wants to dollarize the ADC primaries, and so what? We all know there will be no delegates at the primaries, so why not play the same game and win? 8. This is the game Tinubu is playing. 9. Are you suggesting that Atiku is richer and more financially capable than Peter Obi and Kwankwaso combined, including their supporters? 10. Are we saying Obi and Kwankwaso cannot pool their funds to win the ADC primaries? 10b. Nigerians are not looking for saints. We want a man with the capacity to lead. If you need to spend money to get there, please do so. It's part of politics played all over the world. 10c. None of these aspirants is a saint. None! So, spend the money. Mobilize voters and win the primaries. 11. We all agree to support anyone who wins the ADC primaries, and that's where I stand. 12. Anybody leaving ADC at this critical time is working for Tinubu’s re-election. 13. You will never win on your own in any other party. 14. Don't let your personal ego, greed, and ambition jeopardize the futures of millions of Nigerians looking to you for salvation. 15. Let's go to the primaries, play the politics, and win. This is the only way you will earn respect within ADC, and it’s the only way to prove you are ready and capable of defeating Tinubu. 16. Fight and win the ADC primaries than cowardly chickenning out to a soft landing that will be a complete waste of time. I have no interest in a wild goose chase. 17. There will be no free meals or freebies in ADC. There will be no coronation in ADC. 17a. If Atiku step-down for Obi at the primaries, will Tibubu also step down for Obi at the presidential elections? 17b. This is a battle for men and not for boys. 18. Let the primaries begin. 💃💃 Lawrence Ibe

@Arewa_Source @Kingdave @Arewa_Source that is the problem if Nigeria, you just want to receive Tinubu, and not to put a better candidate without corruption attached to him. Same way you removed Goodluck and put a worse person. We are not after removing an old cargo and put another old cargo to replace.

TWO TRAITORS: Peter Obi and Kwankwaso destroyed the chances of opposition in 2023. They refuse to support Atiku Abubakar when they clearly know they have no pathway to the Presidency. This is a 2023 script all over again but this time THEY WILL FAIL.
