Proving how reactions to nature are cultural/social, our daughter's Dutch boyfriend, knowing nothing of FL or nature, found a huge cockroach in the guest suite, cradled it gently in his hands and released it outside saying "Go free, beautiful creature." So now he must stay.

Also just an aside but whenever someone asks about my resume gap I kind of pull a spoiled rich kid card and say I was working on a novel/screenplay/comedy career I never finished. Which is like a half lie but it makes people fear you just a little, so I recommend it.

@jadiegray @squidkidnyc @BlakeRobPerry It's a visual indicator of how his entire life is about cooking – the house, empty except for the massive kitchen, with his cot set up in the corner. There isn't a single part of his life that isn't cooking, except his memories, which he keeps behind a literal locked door.

Let's be clear. Eli Lilly should apologize for increasing the price of insulin by over 1,200% since 1996 to $275 while it costs less than $10 to manufacture. The inventors of insulin sold their patents in 1923 for $1 to save lives, not to make Eli Lilly's CEO obscenely rich.
