@Olaleye_01 @AmodaOgunlere Ọlá is different from Ọlà. Ọlá is honour while Ọlà is wealth.
Tiếng Việt

Wait, I don't understand the meanings attached to most of the names here. Is Folashade not a short form of Fi Ola se Ade, which is supposed to mean 'Make wealth your crown' ? Perosola is 'Call ease into wealth'. Jadesola means 'Emerge into wealth'. Kemisola means Cherish me into wealth, while Kanyinsola means 'I've dropped honey into wealth'.
Ola in the context of those names isn't honour, it is wealth. Thank you.

@Backarray If there is a runoff, must it be the candidates and their vice or the candidates are allowed to change their vice?

Lol someone aspiring to lead 200 million people, referred to the people in his political party as “elements”. But be more concerned about what I tweet.
This is why Buhari could brazenly open his mouth despite being a colossal failure to call Nigerian youths lazy and there was no definite reaction from us.
Anyone who aspires to lead us, must be weighed by the things he says and doesn’t say, how, where and when he says them.
If you are referring to another Nigerian as an “element”, before you’re elected into office, what demeaning thing will you call them when you eventually get into office?
No Nigerian is more Nigerian than any Nigerian. We can’t afford to have someone who doesn’t treat Nigerians with any shred of dignity, after Tinubu. Then all of these suffering would have been for nothing.

@omoluabi1sq What about just placating Nafiu Gombe and get him to withdraw the case in court? "Bí a bá dọ̀bálẹ̀ fún aràrá, kò ní kí a má ga tí a bá dìde" "That we prostrate to a dwarf won't stop us from attaining full height when we stand up".

Resolving ADC crisis is as simple as ABC.
I think, the leadership of the ADC under David Mark, should vacate office and return power to the former chairman, Ralph Nwosu NWC. Since the court said go back to status quo.
ADC National convention to elect new NWC, David Mark and co is next week.
Whether Nafiu Bala likes it or not he'll be useless by next week

@jrnaib2 If they could send a delegation to lobby Bauchi governor to join the party, why is it difficult for them to send such delegation to meet with Nafiu to reason with him and convince him to withdraw the case in court?
English

The best way for the ADC to escape this trap by Tinubu and INEC is for Sen. David Mark and Aregbesola to step aside and allow the old ADC leadership, led by former National Chairman Ralph Nwosu, to take over and lead the convention, as they are 100% with us.
We should not expect justice from the Judiciary or INEC; we must find a way to survive them. We are running out of time.
This is my opinion, correct me if I'm wrong.

Oyo state government is crowning the Oyomesi (kingmakers) in coming days. What sort of aberration is that? The seven hereditary kingmakers in Oyo have their purpose, the major one being to crown the Alaafin. Now, they will become kings. What’s the purpose of this? The worst thing that happened to us after colonialism is Nigerian politicians. They are rewriting our history and destroying our culture right in our eyes. I’m tired!

@SirJarus One of the fiercest political battle I have witnessed. People lost lives and properties. Tribunal case drama, A lawyer was disbarred, Justice Naron lost his job, Justice Ayo Salami’s suspension was also linked to it. It was crazy…

In May 2005, I was traveling from home in Offa to school in Ife and was dropped at Gbongan junction by a family member going to Lagos.
I got a bus from Gbongan junction to campus.
Later that day, I heard in the news the assassination of politician Alhaji Hassan Olajoku at same junction over these guys’ political feud. Happened less than one hour after I left that Gbongan junction.

@Lugard100 Osun should try to be Osun, identify and work on her comparative advantage and create a development plan for at least 3 decades, so each person coming into government have something to build on.

@Adeofafrica @BalogunKakanfo1 It’s not in Ede town and it’s not bordering Ile-Ife and Ilesha. It’s bordering Edunabon towards Ife, Oogi towards Ode-Omu and one small town before Akoda
English

@BalogunKakanfo1 It’s “ Ase onaa rin” means, “we took the short way” not corner. “Ase” is something that is being long but we cut it short, “Onaa” is road.
So “Sekona” is derives from this words we mentioned earlier.
The town is Ede town, bordering with ile ife, ode omu and Ilesha.

There is a town in Kóòtú Òjíire. It is near Ọdẹ-òmu on the Gbọ̀gán-Òsogbo road in today's Osun State. The name of the town is Sẹ́kọ́nà. You wonder how the name came about. I guess it was a small village under a bigger town and Ọba, a little diversion was cut through that place to link Ilé-ifè probably in the course of some road construction work in those days. It was a "corner" and "Sẹ́kọ́nà" described the diversion. It became grew bigger, became a commercial hub and a town. Sẹ́kọ́nà got stuck on it till today. There is a Kabiyesi there, I wonder if he is called Oníkọ́nà of Sẹ́kọ́nà. Nkan ti se wa ní ile Kóòtú Òjíire!!!
