Anyone with ADHD believe that they don’t have a proper defined fashion sense? I buy clothes for comfort and out of necessity, that’s literally it really 🤷🏾‍♂️

@AdhdAngsty I told someone that I’d finally be starting adhd meds. They disapproved & asked “have you tried meditating for 30 minutes a day?” I stopped talking to them lol. I still don’t have the meds after 2 months cause of my insurance & it hurts that I’m so close to gaining control 🙃

There's so much stigma about this, so I just want to say: ADHD meds changed my life for the better.

Well I lost my dad this year and now won't be spending Xmas with family, but otherwise it's all good.

@ADHDnMe Almost feel bad saying this but meds pretty much exactly facilitated this for me. Keep trying!

#ADHDThoughts I want to know how to use my hyperfocus. Not be used by it.

@GSharpeMajor Lol... thanks I guess! Nerve damage probably. Might try quitting (again) in the new year.

@AdhdMayhem Do you sometimes think that by continuing to chew off the rough bits it will somehow look smoother and get better? I think that's an unconscious belief I have.

@ADHDdesigner @AdhdMayhem It's not painful then? Whenever someone helpfully suggests I put any sort of moisturiser on my ravaged fingers I just wince - most ointments on skin that has been chewed raw stings like mad

@AdhdMayhem I'm the same. Started age 5 and I think the longest I've managed to avoid doing it was about 4 or 5 months when I first started ADHD medication. I once did it so badly in a meeting that I bled all over my notes 😞😞

This really surprised me, but having meetings happen over Teams/Zoom etc has completely cured my fear of speaking in them. Anyone else?

Seems bonkers they won’t accept electronically signed forms either! Such a hassle. Have to post to my support worker to then post on. No leniency even in COVID times 🙄 enough to drive anyone bonkers! #accesstowork

1/1 Thanks Access to Work for taking up my afternoon and sending my forms back for the third time! First time date was wrong. I was claiming a a couple of days before I had the coaching (my bad) but didn’t make any difference whatsoever

[cw: food/appetite] 50mg of Elvanse is definitely the point where eating lunch becomes un-fun. Have thoughtfully been given a script of half 40 and half 50 to mix up and compare/contrast over a month.

Just learned about chip buttys, which is an English food that is literally just French fries in between two slices of bread. This is just making me so irrationally angry

@AdultingADHD I've said these exact words. On balance I'm ok with it, as long as I don't suddenly switch back.
