Today is my last day at Goldsmiths, University of London. I have worked with amazing people over the 12 years there & in many partner agencies. Thank you. I’m moving on to continue building the non-profit Adi’s Urban Mushrooms striving to build a social enterprise.

I always get lots of help when I post questions. I'm prepping for a conference and looking at obstacles... trying to pull together something about every kind of obstacle I've ever read about... want to show how sw is facing examples of all these at the moment. Anything to add?

I only did about an hour of work this morning so I could bugger off out of London for the day for @AdiStaempfli 's birthday. I can't recommend going on one of his foraging courses highly enough. I've been growing mushrooms for two years now and probably learnt more in 2 hours.

@GardenLockdown That looks like such a neat lab tool. Do you ever worry about lighting it in a confined space in which you have sprayed lots of 70% alcohol just a few seconds earlier? 💥😬 I do 😂

There are many slightly eccentric elements to my makeshift shed laboratory. Though finally finding a practical use for a crème brûlée torch that sat unopened for about 10 years after I received it as a Christmas gift is possibly my favourite.

Just found a tiny #mushroom in the garden.

All the shelving was successfully assembled and I didn't swear once. It was many more times than that. The only bad thing is I got a text to say the fridge will be here by 10am, which obviously meant I had to stay up all night looking at test tubes for agar slants. Happy Sunday!
