First time I took my white friend to eat jollof, she told me she’s been suffering all her life and she’s over 30😅. She said she’s never tasted anything so good. She cried from the spice but she’s now turned to a full time spice girl😅 Guess what, she learned how to cook it on YT, she didn’t stop there. She can now comfortably cook jollof, fried rice, Nigerian meat pie and currently learning egusi. By the way, she gave her mum some of her jollof, now her mum wants to be taught how to make jollof😂😂😂

My dad was on a long roadtrip alone today and, once he made it back home, one of my kids asked if he listens to anything while he drives. “No,” he said, “I usually just talk on the phone.” HE SPEAKETH TRUTH. 😂 But I honestly think it’s so dear. He talked to me, my three brothers, and at least one of my nephews today, mostly updating us on what towns he was driving through and how the roads were looking. I cherish every minute. I’m glad he is my friend.
