The baby boomers had apprentice and job preparation for blue collar jobs in High School and most of them made up the blue collar sector and they own more then their children w/the college degrees. Plus the cost of living was cheaper.

There are airplane technicians, air controllers, etc. that make real good money and alot of college graduates would have chosen that instead if we weren't brainwashed.

I believe the payments are for life? and tax free, thats what I found online, don't know if thats correct. Since she's 20 she's probably going to live off the $1000/week while in school, etc, but once she works full time she would be smart to invest the winnings weekly. I would rather have the million but can see why she choose payments.

She’s not wrong, it is rigged against the lower classes. It always has been. She’s right about the degree/student loans. That’s something our parents didn’t have to deal with to this extent. But they struggled too - my parents both had degrees and good jobs but worked side hustles and extra hours to provide nice things.
