Did you know that there is a patent on BPC – 157?
It’s true!
A company called Diagen, from Croatia, and Professor Predrag Sikiric are the primary holders of the patent.
The patent application dates back to 1989 and expires until 2033.
The reason why BPC-157 will never be approved by the FDA is because it takes roughly 5–10 years to go through research/drug trials, at the cost of ~ $500M.
The company is not going to spend that much money for a drug whose patent expires in 7 years and will become ‘generic.’
That doesn’t mean the peptide isn’t effective or it isn’t safe. Actually quite the opposite, BPC-157 is very safe, and very effective.
I expect BPC-157, both oral, topical and injectable to be made available by compounding pharmacies very soon.
I’m a huge fan of it, have prescribed it to patients for over 5 years and taken it regularly for about the same time.
While most people don’t realize there is plenty of studies and data on BPC. I’ve compiled a list of them here.
