Spelthorne MP @LincolnJopp raises the issue of the name of the soon-to-be "West Surrey Council" with @SteveReedMP👏Our friends @southmiddlesex are campaigning to see this properly named "West Surrey and South Middlesex Council". Hopefully Mr Reed will agree to this sensible idea.





Does Patriotic Renewal mean the Middlesex flag (bought by local people) will fly over Downing St, May 16th, again, in honour of the glorious dead of the Middlesex Reg (13th Middx 👑 Westminster) who gave their lives in patriotic service to their country? This year it was refused.

Parishes of Middlesex - colour grouped into modern day London Boroughs for which they would form the base of. Many parishes are ancient but some (such as Stepney) were broken up into several new civil parishes in the 19th century to reflect the growth in population.
