The Chinese government’s investment in sustainable energy — from advanced hydropower to next-generation nuclear — means that, relative to many other markets, electricity supply is secure and inexpensive. Everywhere we went, people treated energy availability as a given. This is a stark contrast to the U.S., where AI growth is increasingly tied to debates over data center power consumption and grid limitations.

You suddenly get luckier in life once you do it for the right reasons. "Bad luck" is another way to say "superficial motivation." Most people don't struggle to reach their goals because their process is deeply flawed, they struggle because they never adopt the right mindset.

Real happiness is found in the journey. It’s the quest. It’s the hunt. It’s the process. It's the anticipation. It's the moment right before you achieve it. It's not in the having, but in the becoming. It's an inside job. Find happiness on the journey or you won't find it at all.
