When I was 8, people like Joanne made me feel like there was something wrong with me. When I finally sought gender-affirming care at 14, I was so relieved I wouldn’t have to go through the wrong puberty. For every fringe detransitioner story, there are 1000 stories like mine.

No, you wouldn't, because that's not what the term means and it's not what people care about. Hormones cause puberty, it's that simple.

@EliErlick The problem is that there ARE de-transitioner stories, which means some adults, for no good reason, irreversibly damaged someone who had some mental health issues which they otherwise could have overcome. No one can re-grow breasts that have been removed.
