hate ppl who think anorexia and bulimia are only for girls, i’ve met plenty of men here who struggle with them. their triggers, experiences and factors that caused it may differ, but it’s still a mental disorder. it doesn’t matter what you identify as, eds don’t discriminate

@MissAlfun @outhcrowfreak if i read it correctly, it is a type of hypogonadism which means not enough testosterone is produced by the body. what makes it different is that its set on by the exact same genetic makeup as is responsible for pmos, and is thus also called metabolic-associated hypogonadism

another important piece of this

On the left is David Reimer, and on the right is Brenda Reimer. They are the same person. As a child, he was the victim of a botched circumcision, and on the advice of a doctor, his family decided to have him castrated and raised as a girl. For years, doctors presented the case as proof that a child’s gender identity could be shaped by upbringing. But he never felt like a girl. He rejected dresses, hated being treated that way, and struggled deeply with the identity forced on him. At 14, his parents finally told him the truth. A year later, he chose to live as a boy again and took the name David. He later married and became a stepfather, but the trauma followed him for the rest of his life. In 2004, David Reimer died by suicide at 38.

they start you on a lower dosage so your body can start regulating itself and get used to the hormones. after some time you’ll start getting your dose upped, idk why so many of y’all’s doctors didn’t explain any of this in the beginning.

I mean if you don't have a family history or genetic predisposition, you are fully vaccinated against HPV, and you are not sexually active, you're probably not going to get cervical cancer. Don't know why everyone glosses over this part. It's extremely extremely extremely rare
