HAPUR, UTTAR PRADESH: 50 year old Muslim woman Gudiya, wife of Imanuddin, delivers 17th child. An entire ecosystem is there to help them: The delivery happened with Government help in a Government ambulance. Imanuddin will get ₹6,000. Gudiya gets free stay for a few days in a Government hospital. Free homes from the Prime Minister's Awas Yojana. Minority scholarships for children. Midday meals and free foodgrains via BPL cards. Think how many children the 17 children of Imanuddin and Gudiya will have. Even Pakistani and Bangladeshi families don't have such large families. In India this is planned because they know demography is destiny.

A fresh controversy may erupt after Jain monk Acharya Nayan Padmasagar claimed during an event in Mumbai that Maharani Tarabai (The daughter-in-law of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and wife of Rajaram Maharaj) belonged to the Jain community. He said that after the death of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Tararani was born “to destroy Aurangzeb” and described her as a Jain queen. The statement has drawn attention because historians widely identify Tararani as the daughter of Hambirrao Mohite, the commander-in-chief of the Maratha empire. After the deaths of Sambhaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj, Tararani led the fight against Aurangzeb for nearly 25 years and later established the throne at Kolhapur. The remarks are now likely to trigger political and social reactions across Maharashtra. #MaharaniTararani #Maharashtra #History #Controversy #Punetimesmirror
