The goal is to build enough treatment facilities to handle 1,201 million litres of sewage per day by the year 2037. This is a big deal because the current systems just can't keep up with the city's growth. The plan, led by PMRDA Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram, aims to stop sewage from being dumped directly into the water and will improve water networks for over 3.5 million people.
