Hydrangea time🙂 aren’t they good this year? This one should be pink but it’s petals have no pigment. The old trick of applying baking soda (it’s alkaline and affects the petal-pigments) would put the colour back in its cheeks but I like the ‘cool’ #achromatic colour-way. You?
Buzzing bumble amplified by poppy petals. Always worth taking a moment to enjoy these extraordinary flowers. I filmed this one at breakfast and now, at lunch the petals have dropped. Thankfully more buds to come!
