In 2016, while at GE, my idea was to use blockchain for trade finance between GE and JP Morgan! The reaction from GE C suit & banks back then was basically: unnecessary, won’t scale, not worth the risk. Fast forward: JPMorgan is now tokenizing a money-market fund on Ethereum.
