Clarification: Users are able to redeem at any time after redemption opens; however, early redemption occurs at a discount to the full claim value as users receive a pro-rata share of the current pool. Holders who wait may benefit from a higher recovery price as the pool continues to grow.

@SolanaFloor @DriftProtocol Build whatever you want, but trust is gone. It's not just the exploit or the security fails (no timelock, 2/5 multisig). It's the horrific lack of transparency and ghosting users for weeks that showed your true colors. Hard to deposit where users clearly don't matter.

JUST IN: @DriftProtocol says it is aiming to relaunch its forked exchange in May or June.

@SolanaFloor @DriftProtocol 2. By making all those users who believe still we will be made whole. This was an exogenous shock to the DeFi community. I think it's a benefit long term. It stops complacent security measures and shows defi protocol that we will support but not be apathetic fools and accept it

@mothrafudger @JacobRobinsonJD @sytaylor I gave a friend money to keep in their vault. A thief deceived friend to get in value and steal funds. There was too much to move so the thief used Prosegur to move the funds. Prosegur knew the funds were stolen, but still delivered cause they didn’t receive a legal order to stop

@JacobRobinsonJD @sytaylor I gave a friend of a friend the key to my house. Friend of a friend came over (with the key). Used key to get in my house and took everything. I’m going to sue Nest. Because Nest has access to cameras and other tech in my house and Nest could have called the cops.

Circle is being sued for allegedly allowing North Korean hackers to move $230 million in stolen USDC after the Drift Protocol hack.
