East Coast Railway is the highest profit-making railway zone in India, headquartered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. If sections like Palasa-Ichchapuram can be moved to South Coast Railway(HQ at Vizag), why can’t all Odisha regions be brought under ECoR? Some major parts of Odisha like Balasore, Rourkela, and Mayurbhanj etc are still outside of ECoR’s jurisdiction. What’s stopping this rationalisation?

This is a huge one for Odisha! Forest clearance has been granted for the Puri International Airport. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has given In-Principle (Stage-I) Forest Clearance for the construction of the Shree Jagannath International Airport in Puri, Odisha. This brings the project a big step closer to reality.

@Adv_Sumit_ Just Imagine Since 2011 Only 1 Exp runs via Bhawanipatna & 1 Single P.F Railway Stn.Railway Connectivity & Infrastructure has been Negleted over these Years. It takes a lot of havoc & difficult travelling to & fro Kesinga to board a train.Are not our demands Genuine ..?
