@bmfshow This is like Ark Park if it was running on Mac Studio and Apple Vision Pro! I am definitely into this, and will be continuing to invest in the medium, so that we can make it to this reality sooner than later.

To some, it may seem pointless to be creating these VR style Jurassic VR game clips. Yes it's fiction and just wish fulfillment, and yes the visuals are pretty outlandish and it would take a beast of a PC to run even part of what this is doing. But my goal with these clips and with the videos I'm working on is to investigate what it would take and what it could look like to build a VR game that does Justice to these Blockbuster franchises. with everything from VR interaction mechanics, set pieces, and even story design for best VR gameplay. The long-term goal is to be able to create these fan wish fulfillment concepts into long form videos. Number one to hopefully encourage some of these large IP holders to investigate doing AVR game for their franchise number two to show non-vr gamers how amazing a VR game of their favorite franchise could be and number three inspire people to make original VR games using the ideas and concepts from these videos.

@damnnigf @Genki_JPN Eventually people will discover that iPhone is more powerful than Switch 2 and Steam Deck, and iPad runs circles around all of them. Pairing these things with a controller makes for the best Mobile and Handheld experience on the market. Mac is closing in on Nvidia as well.

@lastchalice Xbox is far better now, thanks to Phil. The business is much bigger, and they have a solid release cadence of high quality games. Phil’s focus was on Xbox Games, not Xbox hardware. The Xbox business grew, the console business shrank.

Phil Spencer did a lot of good for the Xbox, until that ABK deal: - Dropped Kinect - Took $100 off the Xbox One - Backwards Compatibility - Game Pass - Xbox One X - Smart acquisitions (InXile, Bethesda, Obsidian, Ninja Theory, etc.) - Xbox Series S|X (awesome hardware) - Publisher of the year 2021 I felt like we were headed back towards the 360 days for about a decade, then it just all fell apart with the ABK deal and multiplatform push. Respect where it’s due.

@wahab_twts Noting the community note. The difference between Apple in 1996 and today is so vast, it is an entirely different company. Apple today has its own chips, api, and console UI already deployed. A console would just be another device in the larger ecosystem.

What if Apple made a gaming console?
