@KristinEmery @RayPetelinWx @KDKA We were surprised to see a meteorologist wearing green, then realized the map was reflecting off the floor, which a green screen wouldn’t do. Interesting! How long ago did you switch from a green screen? Also, nice dress!

Adventure Editorial has a new logo by Kristi Kern of Vivid Studios, Inc.! Her designs are clean and effective and she's very easy to work with, so check her out if you need some graphic design work. vsi.co/kristi

@danjan13 @Jeopardy I always keep a heavy quilt and some petroleum jelly handy just in case a contestant gets rowdy!

Yes! Sometimes @Jeopardy is a strange and beautiful mystery.
Owen Siebring@owensiebring

@KenJennings maybe you've addressed this before, but what happens on @Jeopardy when somebody happens to win the game with like $600? If 2nd place gets 2K and 3rd place gets 1K, does the winner really earn less than both of their competitors whom they just beat?

Hey @UPS, our driver's truck broke down today in front of our house, so he knocked on the door and asked for a shovel to unload my dad's pickup load of dirt while he waited for his tow. We didn't get his name, but his run started from DuBois, PA, USA. #whatcanbrowndoforyou

@RayPetelinWx @KristinEmery @MaryOursWX @RonSmileyWx When you four stood together, you looked about 50 percent taller than Kristin and a lot taller than we would have expected compared to Mary and Ron, and we were trying to figure out if you were just closer to the camera 😁. Thanks for the great forecast and winter advice!

I had a writer just ping me: "Wrestling with the main point and structure, but will definitely file this evening." I want that on my tombstone.

@jenni_gritters I jump this hurdle by remembering that, every single time I share something SUPER vulnerable, I help someone else. It’s those really personal, bleeding-on-the-page essays that have always seen the biggest amount of positive feedback. So DO IT!

Twitter friends: I want to publish a few personal essays this year. In the past, I've always been derailed by the scary vulnerability that is putting my own story out into the world in essay form. If you're a personal essay writer: How do you jump this hurdle?

Chicken hunting success . . . First find for this guy. It’s like the ultimate treasure hunt for kids in the outdoors — so fun and underrated for sure . . .

Sweet! Found out three stories I wrote -- on catching hybrid striped bass on flies, hunting for morels and studying disease in wild turkeys -- won a first place award in the PA NewsMedia Association's 2020 Keystones contest. Congrats to Doug Oster for his first place win, too!
