NOW the petitions committee which is made up of current serving MP’s have said that the government response wasn’t good enough. The government is now being forced to give a proper response. It would be peak hypocrisy if the UK government went to great lengths to stop Valentina crossing the Channel or tried to apprehend her once she had crossed it in a boat. All it would do is expose the government as being perfectly capable of stopping illegal migrants when they want to, but of course choosing not to.
