very funny but lowkey sometimes you really have to start negotiating w your own brain like this. like how do we make sure to exclude the suicide option if only for today? and thats how you keep on living. it doesnt work for everyone but

@shrinkpi11ed i actually like my therapist a lot! i just thought it was a funny sentence. overall it was a genuine question that we discussed earnestly and we came to a sound conclusion

i really hate when ppl start statements off with “as a ____ i think…”
BUT in this case as a clinician talking to clients dealing with suicidality is one of the hardest parts of the job and clients shouldn’t expect their therapist to have a miraculous intervention for it
