A popular social engineering tactic used by anonymous phone scammers is to create a false sense of urgency:
"Install this [fake, malicious] app and do X, Y, and Z right now to save your child!"
By requiring a 24-hour wait before you can enable the advanced flow, potential victims will have time to think about what it is they're being guided through and potentially ask trusted contacts for guidance.

Just to clarify, you are only required to wait 24 hours (a one time wait, by the way!) as part of the advanced flow to enable installing unregistered apps, ie. apps made by developers who choose not to verify.
You do not have to wait to install registered apps, or if you use ADB to install unregistered apps.

They ship some version of webkit and soon enough that version has exploits that allows people to run arbitrary code.

Did you know that every time you load the leaderboards, there is a small memory leak? The loading circle is never destroyed, it will be permanently in memory until you close the game
