Gonna watch House of the Dragon S3 Episode 5 once I'm done with the news 🙂‍↕️

I had the privilege of watching Episode 5 of #HOTD Season 3, and if anyone was worried about a weak back half, you can take those fears, put them in a box, and bury them 49 feet underground. It's a strong episode from start to finish, with some pleasant and shocking surprises, dialogue moments I'll be obsessing over for quite a while, and some of the best character work we've seen in the show. There are also a few unexpected nods to the historical records of Westeros that I absolutely adored, I know many will love them too. And then there's this one moment that I genuinely didn't see coming, and I don't think anyone else will either. That being said, I dare say HOUSE OF THE DRAGON has returned to its proper glory, what an episode‼️ ⭐️9/10

no one is prepared for episode five of house of the dragon season three. no one.

“it could be any one of you in this room.” / “you’re a good man, orwyle.” — just my appreciation for orwyle and his scenes with aegon ii 🤍 imo it doesn’t matter if he’s not tg, as long as he’s not a threat to aegon. he doesn’t neglect his duties, and is only trying to survive.

No Spoiler tease for #HouseOfTheDragon Episode 4: * It was my least favorite of the 4 we got from HBO but it's not bad, its just a set-up episode. It was fine. * Sets up Ormund Hightower as our season's villain * Ormund recreates an infamous Daenerys scene from Game of Thrones Season 3 * Dragonseeds are finally given something to do. Meh * Felt way too long with a lot of scenes that didn't feel important but they also kinda were? I imagine so much is crammed into it because they spent the first 2 episodes finishing out Season 2 * Aegon and Larys return for good and for worse, their stuff I felt was the weakest * Some of you hit the nail on the head with your Helaena theories (its out of season) * I'm expecting a whole lot of "Condal hates George" tweets * I liked Dan Fogler's Torrhen Manderly, even in the 2 minutes of screen time he has.

house of the dragon returns tonight! my rating for the first episode is a B, but i found eps 2, 3, and 4 more enjoyable. despite its many flaws, the writing is somehow better than last season and the strong acting performances are still the show’s selling point.

I've now seen the first few episodes of House of the Dragon Season 3 and Emma D'Arcy is AMAZING. The last shot of episode 2, which presumably would have been the final shot of Season 2 had HBO not cut the episode order, made me *squeal*.

this season is Tom Glynn-Carney as the burned and fleeing Aegon II - a character we have previously known as arrogant and power-hungry, but who now, stripped of everything, reveals a human vulnerability that is both unexpected and genuinely moving. thebullseye.no/p/review-house…

I will say one actor who stood out for me in House of the Dragon Season 3 was Phoebe Campbell's Rhaena, especially in Episode 4. Some fans will strongly dislike the change with the character and how its a departure from the books, which is fair, but its frustrating because they're a fantastic actor and was able to portray a range of emotions quite well. I wish Condal hadn't removed some scenes from Season 1 involving Daemon not really giving Rhaena much thought because she didn't have a dragon. Especially knowing that Rhaena was going to have a specific scene in Season 3 Again, HoTD S3 will most certainly be a frustrating experience for a lot of people based off the weird decisions they've made throughout, almost as if they didn't plan far ahead.
