It's hard to put into words how much this game means to me and the impact it had on my life. One day I'll do a write-up, but for now I'll say that many fun times were had, and I met so many cool people all because of this game. 💛

Back in 2011, I visited Green Arcade in Korea to play Tekken, and it was such an amazing experience. The players were all super strong and I saw almost all the characters used at high level. I got a 49 win streak while I was there and became the only Western player to ever get a high streak. The arcade was literally decorated in Knee's trophies, which took up an entire wall of the arcade. The boss lady (everyone calls her mum) was really kind and gave me an arcade stick and a Tekken Tag 2 Tshirt as a present. I miss that place.

The biggest takeaway I've gleaned from all of this, is to take the path of most resistance, not the least. That's when things started to change for me.

2025 was a good year for me. All the effort I put into my job, craft, or hobbies, as well as the discipline I cultivated in myself, paid off immensely. I also got to meet some of my personal heroes, which was really inspiring and makes me want to work even harder in 2026. 😁
